Eagle, Colorado Mushroom and Wild Food Festival Returns!!!

We are excited to return to the 11th Annual Eagle Mushroom and Wild Food Festival which returns this year bringing notable national experts in mushroom and wild food foraging, cuisine, cultivation, preservation and adventuring to our small Western Slope town. Experts include Larry Evans, Katrina Blair, Ken Kassenbrock, Eugenia Bone, John SirJesse & Jon Sommer. Know Your Mushrooms, a film by Roy Mann, will also featured at this year’s festival.
Festival venues are clustered in the commercial village of Eagle Ranch including 7 Hermits Brewing, The Assembly, the Capitol Theater, Zealous School, Color Coffee Roasters and Knapp Harvest.

Color Coffee Roasters will commence the festival on Friday evening with a Meet N’ Greet followed by a Natural Wine Tasting. Saturday morning will include educational presentations at the Capitol Theater. The Zealous School will host two Cooking Classes on Saturday afternoon. On Saturday evening, The Assembly is preparing a four-course culinary experience featuring wild mushrooms. The Assembly has been recognized as the best new restaurant in the Vail Valley and is excited to participate in the festival this year.
Sunday commences with foray orientation at Zealous Schools followed by guided forays into the mountains south of the Town. Later in the afternoon, the 7 Hermits hosts mushroom and wild food identification tables and presentations by Larry Evans and Katrina Blair with light food offering and live music provided by Hardscabble.

Bonfire Brewing in concert with 7 Hermits Brewery is preparing a special beer which will be available. Mountain Kombucha is also preparing a special kombucha brew to introduce to the community.
