How can I use Cannabis?
There are many methods of using Cannabis;
Edibles: Edibles come in many shapes, sizes, potencies & flavors. More popular examples are chocolate bars, hard candies & soda like drinks. This method generally takes 45 minutes to 3 hours to take effect.
Smoking/Vaporizing: Cannabis Flowers can be smoked or vaporized in a plethora of methods. The most common tend to be by using a pipe. A simple, yet tried & true method, allows for an immediate relief of symptoms like nausea & pain. Using a vaporizer has the same relief, but can be far more beneficial for your health. Vaporizers heat the cannabis plant to a high enough temperature, to release the active ingredient (THC) as a vapor, which you inhale. A vaporizer eliminates most carcinogens & allows for heat controlled settings. Choosing a vaporizer will depend on the individual’s needs. Our Bud Tenders can help guide you!
Topical Applications: Salve are the most common topical method. A great way to help pain or discomfort, without any of the “head high”. They, also, help relieve swelling & help promote better blood flow. This method generally takes 5 minutes to take effect.
Transdermal Applications: Applied to a venous area, such as the inner wrist, this method allows for you to choose specific cannabinoids with or without a psychotropic effect. This method generally takes 5 – 15 minutes to take effect.
Sublingual Methods: Applied under the tongue. Usually in a liquid form like a tincture. This method generally takes 5 – 15 minutes to take effect.
